Why do couples enjoy working with you?
Couples often say they feel at ease right away. I keep things relaxed and light on the wedding day, while staying organized and communicative leading up to it.
How do you approach photography?
I’m paying attention more than I’m directing. Your style and comfort come first, and I build around that with a mix of documentary moments and a subtle editorial edge. I use light, perspective, and timing to shape images that feel natural but still intentional.
Will you help with posing?
Absolutely. I take cues from you, and offer direction when it’s needed to keep things feeling natural.
How I describe my editing style
True to life—bold, rich, and clean, with color that still feels alive.
How many pictures will we receive?
For eight hours, most couples receive around 650 fully edited images. The focus is on quality and moments that actually matter.
Can I see a full wedding from start to finish?
I always recommend viewing a full wedding day—it’s the clearest way to see consistency and how the coverage holds up from start to finish.
When will we receive our photos?
Do you have liability insurance?
What happens if we go over the contracted amount of time?
I know not everything runs exactly to plan. Toward the end of your coverage, I’ll check in to make sure we’ve captured everything. If needed, I’m happy to stay a bit longer and extend coverage in 30-minute increments.
How do I reserve you for my date?
Your date is reserved once the contract is signed and the deposit is received. I often receive multiple inquiries for the same date, so booking early is always a good idea.
How much is your retainer and is it refundable?
A $1000 retainer secures your date, and once booked, I’m fully yours for the day. It’s easy to adjust your coverage after booking if plans shift. Retainers are non-refundable, but if you need to reschedule and I’m available, it can be applied to your new date.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I’m based in Davis, California, and photograph weddings and events throughout Sacramento, San Francisco, and the greater Bay Area
