The Hyatt Carmel Highlands sits right on the edge of the coastline—open, quiet, and constantly shifting with the light. It’s the kind of place where not much needs to be added. You just have to pay attention—especially along this stretch of the Carmel coast.
The property moves up the hillside in layers, with views that show up and disappear as you move through the space. Later in the day, the light settles into the upper rooms and starts doing something a little different—soft, directional, and easy to work with if you don’t fight it.
Sam and Eli moved through the day the same way—relaxed, present, and letting things unfold without forcing anything. It fit the space without trying to shape it.
There’s a natural rhythm here. Nothing feels overly structured, which makes it easier to stay present, step in when needed, and let things happen without interrupting them.
A day that unfolded slowly, with the coast doing what it does.
Enjoy a peak at Sam and Eli’s wedding day!
